The 2010 Campbellsville University soccer season will kick off Aug. 20 with Lady Tiger and Tiger alumni games at Finley Stadium, which will serve as the new home for CU soccer with the addition of synthetic turf and lights.
The Lady Tigers will start the night with an alumni game at 6 p.m. followed by a Tigers alumni game at 8 p.m. Both teams will participate in preseason scrimmages against Thomas More College on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Campbellsville will open the home portion of its regular season on Aug. 27 as both programs host Freed-Hardeman University for the first intercollegiate regular season event to be played on the new turf at Finley Stadium. The Lady Tigers host the TranSouth Athletic Conference opponent at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.

A total of seven women's soccer home games will be played in 2010, while the men have 10 home games on the schedule. CU will host Mid-South Conference opponents the University of Rio Grande, University of the Cumberlands, Pikeville College and Georgetown College during 2010. CU travels to defending NAIA men's soccer national champion Lindsey Wilson College on Sept. 15, while the women visit the Blue Raiders on Sept. 14.
