Campbellsville University senior pitcher Ian Pick was named a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I All-American for 2010, the NCCAA office recently announced.
Pick, who was also named Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year, led Campbellsville through the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record as the Tigers' No. 1 starter in conference play. He finished the year 10-1 after recording a loss in the MSC Tournament.
Entering the MSC tournament, Pick ranked in the Top 10 for seven MSC statistical categories.
The Santa Clara, Calif., native, ranked first in the conference in
runs allowed (16), hits allowed (48) and walks per nine innings (1.94).
His 10 wins are second in the MSC while is 2.26 ERA is fourth and his
7.76 hits per nine innings is fifth in the conference.
Pick also helped the Tigers to their fourth MSC regular season title in six years, with a team conference record of 22-5.
Campbellsville finished the year 42-22 with a trip to the NAIA Baseball Tournament Opening Round.
