Day one of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Tennis Championships is done and Campbellsville University men's tennis is the only unbeaten team in Pool A.

The Tigers took down both the 2009 NCCAA national champion Olivet Nazarene University and Spring Arbor University by a 5-1 score at the Mobile Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. Pool play will conclude Wednesday at 1 p.m., as Campbellsville meets NCAA Division II school King College. The top two teams from each pool advance to the tournament semifinal at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Enrique Rubio and Zac Malyon were unbeaten on the day in both singles and doubles play for CU. Rubio won both No. 1 singles and doubles matches, while Malyon won at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles in both matches.

Campbellsville learned late Tuesday night that it advances to the tournament semifinal after Olivet Nazarene gave King College its second loss of pool play. CU will meet either Covenant College or North Greenville University at 7 p.m. Wednesday after closing pool play at 1 p.m. against King. Covenant and North Greenville play at 1 p.m. to decided second-place in Pool B. Palm Beach Atlantic University went 2-0 Tuesday to win Pool B and will face the winner of Spring Arbor's match against Olivet Nazarene, which will be played at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
