Sioux City, IA - Campbelllsville University is 13th in the NAIA National Wrestling Tournament with 51.0 points.  All Tiger wrestlers have completed their matches.
 
David Clemens finished fifth in the 157# division to lead Campbellsville while Zach Flake placed 6th in the 141# division and Glen Jackson finished sixth in the 197# division.
An update on the wrestlers who were still active today and how they finished:
 
141# - Flake won his opening match 9-4 over Spencer Griffiths, ranked second in the class from Great Falls,  He then defeated Jermaine Wave of McKendree 11-7.  Wave was ranked 7th in the class.  In his next match, Flake handled Eric Graham of Missouri Valley 13-8.    Flake was defeated by Adam Koballa of Notre Dame College by a 3-1 score in the semi-finals.  Flake lost in the semi-finals of the Wrestleback to Barry Johnson of Southern Oregon and then lost in the fifth place match to Tyler Chang of Embry-Riddle.
 
157# - Both Campbellsville wrestlers made it to the quarterfinals before losing their first round matches.  David Clemens (JR/Dayton, OH) defeated Dan Pray but then lost to Lee Morrison of Menlo 5-2.  Clemens was ranked 2nd in the class and Morrison 8th. Clemens the wrestled Melvin Bell of William Penn and won 16-3.  Clemens then lost to DJ Jackson of Northwestern College in the semi-finals of the Wrestleback and defeated Lee Morrison of Menlo 12-5 for 5th Place.
 
157# - George Sheppard (FR/Newport News, VA) won his first match 8-7 over Timothy Paige of King College before being pinned at the 0:57 mark by Matt Collum of Missour Baptist.  Sheppard then defeated Michael O'hara of Lindenwood 5-2. He was eliminated from the tournament with an 11-10 loss to Jason Billinski of Dana College.
 
197# - Glen Jackson (JR/Chesapeake, VA) defeated Alex Calvi of Great Falls 4-3 and then moved into the semis with a 16-4 win over Jeff Cobb of Missouri Valley.  He then lost 2-1 to 2nd ranked Andrew Sanchez of McKendree in the semi-finals. He then lost in the semi-finals of the Wrestleback to Alex Cavi of Great Falls and lost in the 5th place match to Brandon Hudiburgh of Hastings College.
