Campbellsville University freshman Dale Kerr is the Mid-South Conference Men's Track & Field Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Kerr earned a pair of top five finishes at the Hanover College Invitational on March 27 to earn his first conference weekly honor of his career and the second straight for Campbellsville. The Orlando, Fla., native, set a program record in the discus with a throw of 41.18 meters. He is the first Tiger to eclipse the 40-meter mark in the history of the program.
Kerr finished fifth in the event earning four points towards the Tigers' team total. Kerr matched his fifth place finish in the shot put. His distance of 13.26 meters earned the team another four points.

Campbellsville finished fifth overall with 75 team points.

CU will compete in the Centre College Invitational on April 3 in Danville, Ky.
